About me!
Greetings, I’m Alexandru, but you can call me Alex. I obtained my official travel guide certificate back in 2015, and since then I have been on a mission to explore the fascinating legends and stories of Transylvania. Although I studied physics and psychology, I eventually found my true calling: to be a storyteller. So here I am in pursuit of my life-dream. My first project is Hoia Baciu Project. My friend Marius and I started it, in the winter of 2013. We are so proud of it, especially when we read the reviews on TripAdvisor. “The Guardian“, “The Independent”,“ABC News” and more recently "Discovery" promised to make me famous 😲, and even if that happens, I will always answer your messages.

Corvin Castle, Deva Citadel, Alba Iulia day trip!
Alex was my tour guide for Corvin Castle and Alba Iulia Citadel. During the drive to Corvin Castle, we discussed Transylvanian, Romanian, and eastern European history extensively, which was very interesting. We also discussed myths associated with werewolves and vampires. Alex showed me around the castle and explained the castle’s history and events. Then, we had lunch near the castle and made our way to Alba Iulia Citadel. Alex was nice enough to take some photos of me. He shared the location’s history and we had a lot of fun. The drive back consisted of lots of fun and interesting conversations. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend him! I’d also recommend Alex’s personal tour of the Hoia Baciu forest! Overall, it was a great experience.Posted on
